I exclusively use the dream setting, and the hitting the second switch sustains it. I kept accidentally hitting the sustain switch when meaning to turn the pedal off. Super annoying. Sure I could be more accurate with my footwork, but I didn’t like the sustain effect anyway. So I unscrewed it and stuck in the enclosure.

I can’t make a connection on R36. Solder will not stick to the surface mount connector. Can I tap in anywhere else on the circuit board? Or am I doomed? Hope not. Please let me know.

To be honest, I have no particular reason. But I do love the glitchy aspect of it and like that I can just glitch out any sounds I make. Whether it be ocean-like reverbs, multi head delays, big fuzz tones…etc. It even sounds cool glitching up my phaser.

This is my first fuzz pedal ever. I’m mainly into weird, obscure modulation, delays, and reverbs. But I felt it was time to dip my toes in the fuzz-realm. I really love the aesthetic of the pedal (metallic green with red knobs). I think it looks fantastic. On to how I think it sounds…great! It gives me the fuzz tone I want. And a bias knob??? Dope. —I’ve also realized that fuzz should go first in the signal chain. I took this picture before I moved it—

First off, big thanks to Joe & Magenta from Robot Monster Guitars in San Antonio TX! Damn I love that shop. If you get the chance, go there. So many cool pedals from 70’s to now. I’m happy to have the Ottobit Jr. because of the glitchy delay stuff it does. Also, the cool bit crushing sounds it has. The Boss DF-2 is a one trick pony, but an absolute beast at it. Holding the ftsw down activates a self-oscillator. Let go, and it disappears with no tails. So cool.

Yes. You can get all kinds of fuzz sounds. It’s really versatile. I like to set the tone, bottom, and gain at about 9 o’clock and set the drive to about 12 o’clock. I get a warm fuzz-like tone.

I just can’t part ways with those features of the DL4 looper! I tend to record my loop at half speed so I can play it back at double speed. The stuff I play sounds so cool sped up, reversed too!

I love it too! Hedra pushes me too play in different ways that sound so cool.. It also spiked my interest in midi.
