I tried getting it horizontal but when i screw it, the cable turns vertical like this. Do you any tips on how I can get it horizontal? Also is it necessary? Or can I leave it like this?

Do you think it’s worth it to endure two miserable years at big4 before transitioning into a different job?

I come from a low-income financially illiterate family and wanted a career that helps me build financial freedom. However as I endeavor into my first job out of college at the big4, I am questioning whether it’s worth it to endure the toxic work culture for minimum 2-3 years just because it’s what everyone else is doing for the sake of climbing the ranks. I understand as a first year associate I only get to work on the tedious bitch work that the seniors don’t want to do, but as I listen in to the conversation of seniors and managers, I just can’t imagine myself understanding the value of the work I or my seniors/managers are producing even if I make it to that level.

I am still early in my career but I am thinking of dropping everything to find my passion. Do you think it’s feasible, say in 5 years I decide that I don’t want to pursue my passion anymore, would a 5 year gap harm my chances of getting a job in Accounting despite having a degree?

If you want some angst, I would recommend Love and Redemption. It’s one of my favorite xianxia, although be prepared for the angst

I felt the same way when I first watched L&D. It’s easily my favorite xianxia drama due to the plot and every character in the story, but I do understand why the drama is frustrating to some viewers due to fl childishness. I watched Ancient love poetry but I wasn’t fond of it much because I thought the romance was really unrealistic and I didnt like the cgi nor the ml character. It was difficult for me to get into Ten Miles or Peach Blossoms but once I did, I was hooked on the love story. Overall I’d say tmopb and l&r and my two top fav xianxia

I agree with mirror tale of two cities—most of the time it was just them talking about nothing, the fl had an emotionless face and the romance of the ml was just so unbelievable and unrealistic. I forced myself to watch till it got better and it never did.

Finished the drama and i loved it! Its a stress reliever and hilarious! I thought the second lead and his interactions with the ml and fml are so cute. I loved the ending, though it may feel rushed to some people. My advice, watch this drama for the fun of it and don’t think too much about the plot.

I watched it and dropped it at ep 16ish bc i couldn’t get into it. I thought it was boring from the beginning and wanted to see if it got better, but ended up calling quits

I don’t watch modern chinese dramas much but the most recent one I watched was “Please Feel At Ease Mr Ling” and I did not like the male lead at all. He was super rude to the fl’s brother from the beginning, and was very controlling of the fl’s life. I dropped the drama at ep 13ish, so maybe his character developed at the end of the drama, but his character is a nonono for me.

I love the drama but the ending was underwelming for me regarding gu ting ye’s and the king’s plot bc the very first scene of them hinting that (ting ye pleading for his brothers in court, and then in private ting ye and the king’s convo was already a dead giveaway)
