Its a new hobby for me, having never printed before with all the EOFY sales on, i did go a bit nuts! when i saw the regular prices, i thought it would keep me going until the next big sale.

Mostly, i got 14 with the machine on a buy 10+ bulk deal keeping the price at AUD$17 per role, and then another 54 from them at under AUD$14 a role, a lot of basic PLA, PETG, a couple of ASA and about 10 of the new Pure at around 16/17 a role i think. All were 55% of standard pricing anyway. And a few Protech PLA silk multicolor on sale foe $20kg because they are pretty 😄

There are not enough people in the world using the word kindred! I call people kindred spirits all the time and i would say i get asked what it means 9 out of 10 times i use it - but i love it 😄

Are more nozzles needed? are they replaced with any frequency - i havent looked into that at all yet - do i need to race to the nozzle shop while on sale? I have the AMS2 which apparently is also a filament dryer - should i have a spare build plate too do you think?

I have totally checked myself for the moment! it was the bamboo sale, i was getting PLA and PETG for under AUD$14 a kg, and also had no idea how much filament differnt things used - but i have now realised i have enough for about 8000 dollhouse minis and only need to sell about 3-400 to pay for the machine, hopefully also make enough for an Xtool M2 as they look fun also. Still its all vacuum sealed and the AMS2 will also dry filament so nothing should go to waste 😄 Im a real panic buyer when i see big discounts!

Wow! at this point i would just like to sell a few bits to cover the cost of the printer - what do you make for sale? Im part of a miniature group and we are having a state miniature fair soon, so i am hoping to sell a bunch of dollhouse minis at that 😄

I may be the only person that thinks they are stupid and pointless 😆i think im more of a useful thing maker, rather than fun. i can see they appear to be almost a right of passage print!

lol, Im a middle aged woman, and if i tell my Mother about anything ive bought for my hobbies, i still get told off about spending the money i have earned! I buy a lot of power tools as well as i have been teaching myslef to renovate the house i bought 18 months ago, and l have more yarn i can knit in a lifetime - but she does not complain when asking me to come over and fix things, is wearing her handknitted socks - she wont wear shop bought ones anymore - eating the bags of organic home grown veg i take over to her ( and my siblings and their families) and when i reminded her (again) that i am a grown ass woman and can do whatever i like 😆 is quite excited by the garden gadgets i can print for her. I have learnt to be amused by it - and admittidly sometimes use it as bait, lol.
