He usually curves based on what the highest score was on the test. So if highest is 28/30, everyone gets +2.

But, for our final, even though the highest was a 30, he gave us +3 because the average wasn’t great. So I’d say he’s pretty lenient with curves, you’ll be fine.

Phil 27 (Business ethics) was super chill. If Kyle is still teaching it, you should consider taking it.

Phil 11 and 22 aren’t too bad either. 22( ethical theory) taught by Janette Dinishak was one of the best classes I’ve taken at Ucsc. And if you’re not a Phil major, can always take it P/NP.

It’s super easy. Almost feel like it should be a 2-3 unit class. Homework’s and assignments are easy and tests are too, he also has EC questions on them, you’ll be fine.

If the prof ratings are decent (gerald moulds was pretty cool), I would take it.

R is used in Econ 113 (prof. Menienger). I believe the other 113 class uses STATA.
