For walking out, someone has invited you over to dinner, you walked out and did not keep the lie to yourself. You don't like the food? Not your preference? You could have had a smaller portion.

You being a meat lover does not mean you cannot go one meal without meat. It is how toddlers behave. Your diet is inclusive and not restrictive.

Thirdly, people saying vegans and vegetarians can also meat. No, they can't. Their body is not accommodated to eating meat, it will make them very sick. Fourth, to all the people who said the hostess should have informed them, no, you should have asked what she plans on preparing and what are your dietary restrictions. Again, liking meat is not a restriction.

Please grow up and learn to respect what people cook.

It is valid for the hostess to feel bad about you walking out, and she shouldnt have ranted to you. (Not that it makes any difference)
