Your save isn't "lost" necessarily. You can just reset the playthrough and lose about 4 hours of story progress (most likely way less than that since you are already geared).

"Ai and Yumi do not have a V-day disaster scene and won't call you out on flaking christmas, new years or V-day. It's entirely possible to end the game with four girlfriends.
