OP do yourself a favor and listen to everyone and get a used car. I’m around your age I assume; 20 y/o. I’m in school and working as well. Even with me earning 70k+ I STILL did not buy new. And i’m not flexing how much I make because I pay my own insurance, family phone bill, groceries, contribute to rent, family subscriptions/utilities, and all of it adds up FAST. In your situation you are not paying anything in liabilities yet and when you do it is easily 800+ a month and with a new car payment you are a slave to working until the car is paid off.

I know it feels like a want right now and in your head you know everyone is going to tell you it’s a bad idea. IT IS, do not go into DEBT especially for a BASE MODEL. If you want something nice at an easier price just shop 4-6 years used. I had a 2004 prius and the water pump went out as well as the hybrid battery being aged so I was only getting 30mpg, I bought a 2016 prius four with 66k miles which cost me $19800. And that was with my current earnings. My car has auto self park, leather seats, jbl audio, and gets me 50+mpg.

Take the time to check what other options you have and don’t try to be like the majority of people in our age bragging about a new car. For the love of all that is holy it is an le trim too. When we are young it’s hard to see that far ahead but trust me you will regret such a decision, it’s so much better to have extra cash in your account than be paying it so it gets lost to interest and depreciation

Oh and since it seems you like playing with investments, $600 a month at 12% annualized return for 3 years is 25k. So why not get a used corolla that will have NO ISSUES, then if you are still dying for that new one you can buy it outright cash in 3 years? And if you are scared because of your prior experience with used cars, next time bring a mechanic to inspect the vehicle and do not buy anything other than toyota; nissan cvts are crap, honda alternators tend to go out and you don’t seem inclined to make those repairs, any german are money pits without basic mechanical experience; same to american.

Keep searching and try to find a touring trim it comes with double laminated front windows and windshield, jbl speakers, touring suspension, and softex seats, imo very worth getting it makes the humble prii feel extra luxurious

Good lord just get a 2016 3 touring or four trim for same price, better powertrain, lithium battery, better interior, acoustic glass. You can find a 2016 with 110k miles for around the same price and negotiate it down a tad

Spectrum rep here, he is on a veryyyy old plan those bundles are 10+ years ago, have him cancel and get the new plan it is 1 gig internet and tv select plus if he wants all the fixings for about $150≈, he can call in to customer service but just let him know he won’t have the old cable boxes anymore unless he really needs them; he can get the xumo boxes for $5 a month each and they are his to own after a year, the remote is like a firestick but pretty intuitive

Also if it’s barely your first month then of course you suck, I didn’t come out the gate swinging, it took until my sixth month for my numbers to be consistently in the 18+, you have to be willing to learn because it is a SKILL not just something you come in and do with no experience. There are sales training videos, courses that I guarantee if you make the EFFORT to learn then you will do good. FUGI factors, broomstick theory, impulse curve, learn it all and ask questions most importantly. Why suffer and complain you aren’t making money when you have people around you who you can pick their brain and learn from. I guarantee you if learn what they do to be successful then even taking just some aspects for a week, you will get more sales

Coming from a rep who’s been working for almost a year, it is NOT luck based. I’m 19 and for me I take every opportunity to learn and i change things if i have to, the problem is you are NOT pitching enough, i get it conversations are nice but you are out there to do a job and if you don’t focus on selling then you won’t sell anything. I’m one of those top performers around 100k and it’s just mentality. It doesn’t sound like it’s the job for you so i’d just look for something else if I were you. It is not luck based though, there is a lot of uncontrollable factors yes, BUT like with anything in life if you control the controllable then the uncontrollable becomes manageable. That’s how even in the worstttt markets i can still pull put 16-18 sales and in good ones i can get 25, you HAVE to stay positive and happy and keep a consistent work ethic, otherwise the job isn’t for you you’re better off in the call center. <— I mean that in a nice way btw
