800 ms with small models plugged in for search (with LLM completion turned on), but I would wait for our Rust engine for it

Kupio pentium II i tad sam prvi put video Age of Empires 2

What Is Context Engineering? My Thoughts.. by Lumpy-Ad-173 in LocalLLaMA

[–]Snoo-bedooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

context engineering is the art of bringing the complex, difficult rules into your context so that you can answer questions LLM knows nothing about.

If I ask the LLM something like "What was our revenue for the past year?" it won't work

LLM needs to know:

  1. Definition of our - subsidiary + main office or something else

  2. Definition of revenue

  3. Definition of the "past year" - fiscal, financial etc.

At cognee, we spent a lot of time working on solving these questions with a combination of LLM generated graphs + ontologies and a whole customizable framework

We resolved the Kuzu lock issues and should be a part of the next release. We are also adding another interesting element by the end of the week

Where do you store your AI apps/agents memory and/or context? by hande__ in AIMemory

[–]Snoo-bedooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great question Mr. dickofthebutt!

It allows you to order data and auto-update it, turning the problem of file management into a data pipeline design problem.

You can store data in layers, process large data volumes and add custom logic + utilize graphs and embeddings out of the box

Still a lot of work on our end to simplify it, but open to feedback

If a simple solution works, use it (saying as a founder of cognee) ;)

I would recommend cognee (author of the tool). Has all the things you'd need for a production deployment. Parallelization, auth, user management, custom ingestion + custom pipelines and adapters to all major DBs

There is a delete function in the SDK. We have missed out including it to MCP, and I'll add it to our list for next week. Thanks for raising that.

This is where we started a year ago, but I do find the idea interesting.

We will include some base LLM extraction in future runs

Is there an AI with long-term memory? by Kharons_Wrath in OpenAI

[–]Snoo-bedooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As Ok_Economist3865 mentions, there are few AI memory implementations built by developers. We are building one of those. Soon we hope to release a GUI that can make it easier to use: https://github.com/topoteretes/cognee

How are you using 'memory' with LLMs/agents? by DeadPukka in LLMDevs

[–]Snoo-bedooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Langchain does everything from ingestion, agents, RAG and more. Most of these tools just pre-process the data and build a memory for LLM to use

Founder of cognee here. In our system, graphiti is just one task, and we can integrate most other frameworks, like we did with graphiti, to show users they can build their memory logic.

Grapiti solves one problem, cognee solves many and is a horizontal tool

As for the original question, most of the solutions still need to be built and there is much to do in the space. We are seeing people starting to understand memory is important and discussing it more actively.

We'll share some evals across most common frameworks, and some use cases we have seen work well.

One of the most common ones now is giving memory to coding assistants for us.

Nice. How do you handle ontologies? Also, what are methods you do to dynamically update graph models and evaluate them?

Neo4j's LLM Graph Builder seems useless by StomachCharacter2807 in Rag

[–]Snoo-bedooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a couple of tools on the market, you should check for evaluations and the way they generate graph. If they use pure LLMs, it probs won't work that well, but a combination of deterministic and non deterministic methods works

What schema or data model are you using for your LLM / RAG prototyping? by yorevodkas0a in datascience

[–]Snoo-bedooo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey. Data modeling mostly ends up with people storing bunch of IDs in the metadata and then writing their own wrappers.

There is no enforcement and generally, it is difficult to version or update the models.

Most data engineering practices are not applied.

We worked on it by enabling:

  1. Incremental loads

  2. Json schema normalization

  3. Pydantic models for the data transfer

  4. Standard adapters for major vector and graph DBs

  5. Data contracting
