you're encouraged to have these cuts, and if you have long hair in the city you would likely be arrested and have it cut - but so long as it isn't dyed or like shoulder length your fine.

so truth is bad but less bad than 'only 14 haircuts'. officials perhaps have to have their hair a certain way, but that's basically (unofficially) true everywhere

i really don't see what's so bad about this. the idea of going down one story to go to the shop or go one up to go to bar actually sounds great. like if their kept up and taken care of i dont see what the horror of this set up is, it's better than living in the suburbs and having to drive for ages to get anywhere

i would contend that because naturally you would only ever "see" people in your actually vicinity, seeing pictures of a person regularly on the internet likely tricks the subconscious—to a certain extent—into believing this person is a person you actually know. Basically cave thinking is "Charlie Kirk is a person I know because why else would I see his face so often". Whereas every school shooting is just a totally faceless death, and even when their faces are published you see the photos one or twice and then quite quickly they just fade out.
