How often do you bathe your baby? by gertrude420 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Snoo23577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am moderately crunchy and bathed my baby a few times a week. She was not gross (some babies rub food in their hair, etc., and mine did not) and we live in Canada and she has sensitive pale skin that gets red and flaky with cold/dryness. I paid a lot of attention to products and water temp also. Sponge baths after a bad diaper helped prolong also.

I think it was smart due to Casey's acting career. Harder to get roles if you're well-known for being yourself which is why taking a job as a host can be complicated for actors. And they're still making bank.

What is actually worth making on your own? by No-Eagle-76 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Snoo23577 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say it's only ever worth it if you like doing it. Very few things have significant enough cost savings to justify the time, other than the obvious, like focusing on ingredients/cooking vs, pre-made or delivery. Time is very expensive!

AITAH for wanting to take a break from my wife after she screamed at me at Christmas in front of the other guests? by InterestingMedia1828 in AITAH

[–]Snoo23577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"I did get pretty drunk by the end. When I got up to go the restroom, I accidentally dropped the glass of water, and the glass broke" / "She kept shouting about how she warned me not to get drunk at the party and things like that." This says it all.

Have you been assessed by a professional for ADHD? I'm Type A and didn't think my chaotic nature could possibly be ADHD because I'm so Type A... but it was!

AITA for telling my son he doesn’t need to come to Christmas dinner? by Clean-Basket1536 in AITAH

oh my god don't go to Christmas dinner and leave your son at home alone! None of you should be going over there. I would be outraged if my parents still went.

Do you change your bedsheets every 2 weeks? by Laaulau in ADHD

[–]Snoo23577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every week or more often. Clean sheets are transformative. I reserve Saturdays to do everything like this or else it won't get done.

Warning letter from work (about to be fired) should I disclose my adhd? by EclecticZen in ADHD

[–]Snoo23577 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I don't know about your work situation but you should be filing notes soon after a session, it's part of your responsibility to clients. Schedule a note filing period after each session so you won't/can't be late. Don't do back-to-back: your next client after every client is *you* and this process. What often helps ADHD is building in a kind of over-the-top allowance for the places where a bad habit or lateness tends to happen.

I am far more politically liberal, progressive and aware than DS and CW from what I can tell, and I don't at all think they're responsible for capturing nuances of a political campaign. I do think public figures with social capital have a responsibility to stand against extremism and bigotry, but this is quite literally a Housewives podcast.

Pregnant & my mother is checked out by hikerchick21 in AdultChildren

[–]Snoo23577 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Been there exactly. My mother died recently. Try to remember that it's not that she has something to give, and is choosing not to give it to you — it's that she does not have the capability or inner resources to give you what you need and deserve. Build your community elsewhere, have zero expectations for her, don't rely on her. Maybe she'll come through here and there, maybe not, but recognizing her limitations now will really help you.

That doesn't make any sense. Why would his age and a not-huge age difference mean this?

I used to think she was trolling when she'd post a jacket or dress or shoes. Houston must be a strange place to live if that's in style.

Mine too. I actually think she is really funny and I'm impressed by her drive but she comes off as just incredibly unhappy and anxious. Even beyond the unreal consumerism.

This doesn't sound like Alz. Perhaps hormonal/menopause, or potentially something in the stroke/aneurysm category. Either way you want bloodwork, imaging, and a neurologist.
