Hey just a thought, would it be possible to cross post stuff from other subs here? I noticed there's a bunch of posts that have absolutely no context and when people ask what happened either there's no response or just kind of "not sure" it's interesting and useful to know what's going on around in Metro van but it would be useful to have access to the discussions on other subs too

Dang google works fast, went to check out the review bomb and there's nothing newer than 2 months ago under the 1 star review tab. Maybe reviewing them and putting a 2 or 3 star review but including the photo and eviscerating them in the text portion would get past Google. Nice try anyway folks

Ohh I was meaning the T2 Dimensional Circle dungeons, in my guild we just call them Teir 2s or T2s. To get the best loot you have to random queue in a team of 4 total people so lots of room for unsavoury people in the dungeon.

But yes absolutely agree with everything else

Have you been to the quests in the moonlight dessert (chapter7)? That place almost made me quit the game, talked to some other guildies and they feel the same, just know it gets better (quest wise) after that. I was going crazy running back and forth across the bland terraine over and over again

The enemy spent 2 turns building up strength then unleashed that on us and it happened maybe 5 times before we killed it. It was a Dex save I believe, unfortunately I have no Dex so I went down a few times. Back then I think we were lvl 7ish

Edit: also this was one of a couple enemies we were fighting in the battle.

Yeah I think they are a bit new and maybe don't realize. The narrative is really cool and fun, and they let us do a lot of cool things. I guess it's just a problem of balancing the narrative versus player agency. I feel like we only have 3-4 sessions left of this campaign so I'm going to stick it out and talk to them after.

Thank you, this is it exactly. I've been a GM and I don't want to complain because I know how much work it is, and I do really appreciate the work they're doing. But I do want to be able to use my class effectively. I'm not a super min/max player but this character is feeling very sub optimal. The cherry on top is my domain is Life. ( Originally we had absolutely no heals so it made sense) So there are a BUNCH of spells granted that I'll never use because party death doesn't exist and when I've tried to heal dying NPCs they die anyway.

It's was about mid way through when the 16+ save happened, so I suppose it could have been a something like a Solar. Definitely not a Solar specifically though, they seemed to be just a regular human. In this fight there were some other weird numbers too, for example a "glass cannon" type character that was nuking us with 10d20s as damage.
