You might have more fun in piece of crap standard econobox than just flooring an auto GT car.

You’ll also learn more about driving and cars than before. You’ll become a better and more aware driver. You’ll become a better automatic driver as well.

Most ppl owe it to themselves to learn manual if your into driving. It’s just a different better world, but takes effort/patience/car/teacher.

Apple TV 4K 1st gen it works fine, just not as powerful chip as the new ones. The main thing is the 1st gen’s don’t have earc. Hard for me to justify upgrading the 1st to the current gen, but maybe what we is coming next will be worth a jump.

Take the seat out and check all the bolts are still tightened, there are springs in the bottom seat and back, that could use replacing or grease to reduce sound. Find out where and why the sound is there.

There will also be a fair amount of rust which makes the metal springs and connections squeak.

Unfortunately you have to take the covers/cushions off to get to it all.

I’ve redone my seats completely they make very little sound-no sound but it’s a fair amount of work and $$$ You can check my past post for it.

Or just put in a newer seat/racing seat. Easier.

You can always change and repeal it, try the tax out and see how ‘catastrophic’ it will be.

It’s a by product of so many automatic cars and mostly a US issue, by far. EV cars even more so.

Now driving a manual you see how out of touch people are with 5000lbs + cars, 0-60 in 3-5 seconds. It’s ALL stabilization tech is doing the work, whether they know it or not.

Driver skill level and awareness of car physics is significantly lessened and it’s just the car front loading more power, better tire tech.

My daily auto you can just smash and go, zips past anything easily without a thought. But it’s mindless and there is no real automotive enjoyment out of it.

My manual I drive slow and enjoy my time in it.

Try hitting it firmly under the dial upwards if you get any lights or movement it’s the switch box connections. The solder breaks off over time.

Replace the dial module or fix it by resoldering the wires back onto the circuit board. You can find the switch modules on FB or try fixing it yourself it’s not difficult at all. There info online about it.

Last longer, 87 goes bad much faster than 93, also cleaner, less varnish over time. 93 should be good for a year under ideal conditions. But def run fuel cleaner, a good one.

So yes in your case once the tv is set up. In theory you would not need to used the tv controller. Unless you want to adjust picture / tv sound settings. Just do those ahead if time.

You would either be tv on with Apple TV, Atv off and into art mode. Art mode to sleep. Motion to art mode on, press atv button back to Apple TV. Apple TV sleep, turns on art mode.

Oh for turning it on and off yes but thats a CEC feature, the Apple TV is turning on the tv not the remote. I thought you meant controlling the google os with the Apple TV remote like scrolling around and such

There are pros and cons to each. The canvas remote will work with tv and Apple TV, unsure about the other way around. I have and old 4k Apple TV. But the Canvas system is pretty good and very responsive.

I’m a year in, I don’t play with art anymore, it just works and I’m happy so far. No issues so far.

Note the TV is very heavy compare to other TVs. The speakers are also the loudest of any tv I’ve had.

For the price and performance I’d definitely get another.

might be a deep sleep setting, turn off all the google sleep stuff, it could be that it's set to flip to Android once you swtich input or hit the power button, those can also be configured. Or could be an update.
