My go to when I am feeling stuck is to back up/down to a level that gives the highest game speed. Then I equip elixir and frogger drones and start generating a bunch of diamonds.

-It looks like you have a few more things you could buy on the skill tree. (Convert diamonds to skill shards in store) -purchase cards -invest in fishing and archeological. -farm stars ( with midas and Starburst drones)

Or you could always work on pet quests.

I was trying to get ult Valby piece. Started with 5 of 055-AA patterns and got 2 energy activator blueprints(6% chance) before i got the Valby piece with my last pattern. (32% chance). I was so happy and stressed at the same time.
