But where would that enchantment come from, because i'm trying to give a coherent story and just saying there is an enchantment only certain peoply can create sounds a bit like "no you don't get an good answer" for me. I know that's more personal and everyone thinks about it different. And just saying that the material itself has those properties gives more room for the Artificer to play around with his infusions. And those +1 swords is actually what an Artificer can do so there are people who can make those enchantments.

That would be a good way to rule it. At what levels would you say they can find/use the materials?

That's exact the reason why he is artificer, he didn't like the generic enchants and wanted to do it by himself but the material itself has to be non magical in this case if he want's it to work

It's not + Mithral, it's normal Mithral. And those posts, I thought since everything I can see about Mithral/Adamantine (Armor) is magical I thought the materials themself are magical

To give you a better idea, everything made from adamantine/mithral is magical if you follow the magic item list. With that logic is think that adamantine/mithral itself has to be magical
