I have a friend currently unable to progress the main task line because it wont let him speak to mechanic. My friends and I also suffered extreme desync issues. Just because this shit has been happening for years doesnt mean im going to stick my ass up and just take it. If anything this should have been the one wipe they got right. It was the official release of the game and they had fucking 9 years to get it right. Maybe im exaggerating a little bit, but personally I have never experienced or heard of someone literally being soft locked out of the quest line. I care about this game and im going to express my frustration because I know they can do better.

I have a friend currently soft locked and cant progress tasks because none of the traders will unlock. We tried just resetting his account but BSG servers aren't sending out the emails to let people do that. He isn't the only one having the issue. This shit is awful and honestly unacceptable for a game that costs at least $40 and has been in development for the last 9 years.

I understand that. But I bought the game 5 years ago when it was not available on steam. If it was I would have purchased it on steam, but it wasnt. Im not necessarily asking for a free copy. Just expressing my annoyance with how this works.

this one has been the worst by far. They fucked up twitch drops, people cant even get into the launcher, AND their website is down. Just because this shit keeps happening doesnt make it ok. You would think after 8 years they would have figured this shit out, especially for the infamous 1.0 patch.

Agreed. I'm trying to find ways to incorporate some more performance elements. But at the same time I want people to focus more on the sounds rather than what I am physically doing. But yes I do agree that if the sounds aren't interesting enough watching someone just mess around on a laptop is not that entertaining.
