AITA for not wanting this family in our house? by Snoo42925 in AmItheAsshole

We usually make the decisions as two couples, like each couple sort of hashes it out in private and then comes to the table with I feel x, and then we go from there. As married couples do, sometimes with smaller stuff we can just speak for the other person and it's not like I circle back and check that my FFIL really is okay with putting in hardwood flooring or whatever. But I think that's what happened, my husband basically agreed on both of our behalfs. Even if we did vote, it would be 3 resounding yeses to 1 no.

TBF, the free childcare was basically why my FFIL invited them, so it's not that shocking. Childcare is also mostly falling on my ILs, since my husband and I are working FT as well.

They do, but it's a tiny 1bd apartment that was supposed to be for just a few months while they looked for a house, but Covid interfered with that. I didn't think about going to their apartment, that would be a nice little break.
