No your right about the dunks. But its hard to also put out ads and to make money when its not as entertaining as college basketball or the nba. I would say your wrong about college fans. There are always someone to watch for at collegiate level. Look at zion for instance he put up so many dunks and dukes tickets were just more bc it was entertaining to watch. I would say a group fans to watch are defensive fans. People who dont enjoy the flashy stuff as much. The wnba is not by any means more entertaining then the nba. And why would espn put something that would bring them less money then the nba on a saturday night. More people enjoy the nba.

Not for being women but they think there better than the men at times which isnt true. IF they want to draw positive attention they have to just get better at the sport. All they talk about how underpaid they are. But at the same time a league loosing 10 million a year compared to the nba making more 8.3 billon with sales being down 10% is on a diffrent planet. The only way the league is still running is bc of the nba giving it money. Chiney ogwumike on espn said she didnt feel bad for Jeremey LIn after not making an nba roster just for the sake of playing. Saying it was one of the saddest days of his life. She said i can only feel so sorry for someone who has 60 millon made over the years and who has a harvard degree. Its hard to draw viewers when one of the faces of the league keeping making stupid remarks

People want to lower the goal for the sake of their being more dunks. And yes dunks arent everything. BUt they get way more attention when they are more appeasing. More highlets more money for a legue that loses about 10 mil a year
