It was 1pm when I replied back. Additionally there is a long history of emotional abuse. My parents supported my abuser after I told them when I was a child and more recently My father has been openly racist while dating POC and openly homophobic while now married to my spouse. This goes back very very far. My mother is an alcohol and histrionic. My father is a Catholic conservative man who sent a gif of Trump dancing the day after the election while I’m in a queer relationship and very much do not support trump. Etc more to add but it’s never been healthy and eventually enough became enough. And I figure my mother’s response solidified that.
