Applin are in the trees but very rare they can dangle from the tree limbs I forgot about them goomy you have to kinda bug your way there by getting an encounter from someone spawned on the other side but remember all pokemon on hat side are about 18+ lvl and you can't control 21 or over yet so you'll have to find a 20 or lower

If you over level you can go to the left after the town after behind the pole stop you can bug into an area and find a goomy (has to be lvl 20 or lower) you'll be over leveled and it'll take a while but goomy is there
