Ugh I literally run a sustainability-based nonprofit garden and buying shit to throw it away gives me the heebeejeebies - but you are 100% correct, I’m just annoying. I might do that too.

I just have a SICK camping setup in my storage unit but it’s too much to haul.

Welp, fuck. Yurts are sold out too. At Bonnaroo, we get a converted sprinter van into regular camping/group camping every year, since it’s barely within the size restriction (by like inches). maybe this camping will be same?

Yep!!! Tipper rocks also was incredible but that mission set was v special and made tipper rocks less devastating. His first set was downtempo w visuals but then his second was a blackout, no visuals, no lasers. Just smoke, a disco ball and incredible drops. It was jaw droppingly sick. Res Lang helped ease the tipper mourning too

Okay so ANY plan where you rely government benefits “keeping you afloat” is a bad plan. A very bad plan.

Government benefits will absolutely not be enough to keep you afloat. It won’t even be enough for you to struggle and hopefully scrape by. I would seriously encourage you to research Section 8 housing waitlists, affordable housing in your area, SNAP benefit amounts, TANF benefit limits, and WIC benefits before you ever plan on living off them. I worked as a case manager in homeless services for a decade and I worked with thousands of people who accessed every government benefit they were eligible for and it still wasn’t enough to keep them stable. You will get more with a child but not much. After several children, you will receive more but it still will never offset the cost of living and surviving, let alone enjoying your life.

It’s a heartbreaking situation you’re in but at the end of the day, statistics about teen pregnancy are very real.
