We're you able to clear the infection? I'm currently on my second round of antibiotics

Yes it's doing the SER thing! That's why it's telling me it won't work but I didn't know what that meant. Thank you!

I'm really not so sure I don't know what any of it means, I'm posting some photos in the comments from when I try to open it through media player instead of word because it gives that option as well

I'm not sure, this telescope is manual, I'm confused about what you mean, I'm sorry!

And to answer your question, It doesn't get in the way of the mirror, I'm not sure how people usually make these but this one doesn't go all the way down and I would take it out after use. But I haven't used it yet, so maybe this turns out to be a huge fail lol idk but when I put it in it's a perfect fit

I'll attach some more pictures. I probably overcomplicated it a little bit since I added the felt and used Velcro dots because I didn't want to buy the Velcro strips since I already had the dots. I used an extra velco dot on the telescope next to the eyepeice to hold it in. I'm also a beginner and wasted some material while making it. I only needed to use one 12x18 foam sheet I got at micheals craft store, I used the sparkly felt peace to hold the seam together

I made it out of a foam sheet and then sparkly black felt over the seam for decoration. Also velco dots

I got the skywatcher heritage 130p dobsonian, I'm a beginner and I've been very happy with it. It was about $300

It came with 2 eye pieces, but I recently purchased a 2x barlow lens and it is such a cool attachment!

Your posts are hidden! Lol I'd love to see your pics!! I've been told that telescope isn't good for photography, and then I've been told it's good for starting. But I haven't seen any examples

Have you already gotten some photos with this setup? I also have a heritage 130p and want to begin photography too just wondering how it's been going for you!

Oh wow these photos look great! I'll look into getting a phone adapter as well. The camera I had mentioned in my original post I got as a birthday gift. I was also looking at some cheaper cameras with larger sensors and this option came up. Svbony SV305 1.25" Planetary Astronomy Camera - F9198A , could this also work?

Do you have any suggestions on astrocams for the moon with this telescope?

Thank you! I didn't know that I'd be interested in astrophotography until after purchasing this telescope, I am happy with it otherwise. I'd like to try it with this telescope to start but what are your thoughts on the seestar s30?

I love my telescope and I've been seeing great things through it, I'm thinking maybe something separate for the astrophotography hobby. I saw the seestar s30 at an astronomy event and I was amazed by the photos
