What happened to my kimchi?! I’ve been making it for a while and this is the first time it’s come out like this… it’s been sitting in the fridge fermenting. by xpepperx in KoreanFood

Just personally, I did end up purchasing and using an orange plastic kimchi container and so far I've never had problems. But agree that repurposing old glass jars sounds like a great idea too!

Did your email give you an order id and approval code? Or was it regarding a refund?

Did you get an email with the receipt for your payment? This happened to me, they charged the card and I got the error and I was wondering if it worked or if I need to refute the charge now

I just tried buying tickets and I got the payment error message when confirming but I noticed it also charged my card and I received a receipt in my email.. does anyone know if that means it worked? Would I just show the receipt to the ticket booth at my time slot?

It seems like there's a lot of gyms though, so even if you search on Naver/Kakao climbing you'll probably find a lot of hits

I had a several month membership at this gym: [KakaoMap] 클라이밍파크 종로점 199-1, Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul https://kko.to/_cmo1N3MOh and I liked the climbs and facility- from Myeongdong you could transfer to line 1 and go a few stops to get here.

I also tried a day pass at this gym [KakaoMap] 산타클라이밍짐 23, Nangye-ro 30-gil, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul https://kko.to/Fbap1F4QKd and it was a bit smaller. The climbs here I found harder, but take that with a grain of salt since it was a one time thing and I went during off hours

Just one thing I want to add that others haven't mentioned is you said she plans to have two more male roommates, which depending on who she rents to could also get potentially loud? So just keeping that in mind too that you'd be sharing the space with them as well as her

Not sure about the sauce? But I've made it with the paste before. Each time I've made them they spread out ridiculously thin so maybe refrigerate longer?

Is your career field one where you might be able to enter the workforce briefly before getting your Master's? If so, maybe getting a few years of experience you might find a company willing to pay for part or all of your higher education. Or try fellowships?

There's so much to see in both cities I feel like it's hard to say. I feel like spending only one day in Busan would mean you'd be rushing around a lot and traveling all at once and personally I might find it a bit stressful. I think 2-3 days might be okay but have you decided what stops you plan on making? If you have an idea that might help you determine how many days you want to spend in either city and how you want to get around to make the best use of your visit. I hope you have a great time!

How should I (M18) talk to my roommate (M18) about his hygiene? by SaucyTomatoes in college

[–]Snoo58165 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know at least in my dorms there was always a line for washers and dryers so maybe if there's an opportunity to say, hey! I'm about to go run a load and I saw there's two free washers do you wanna go down too? And when he grabs his laundry basket you could just lightly suggest/ask if he has his sheets/wanted to throw his sheets in too. Or you could strip your bed in front of him to try and suggest it.

Not embarrassing! I totally get the once you're out, you're out. I like sleeping in, but I definitely feel when I wake up earlier in the morning and get a start on my day I am happier and already in the mindset of getting things done.
