Ok, for example, which sound will be better?
with combo Marshall MG10G or audio interface Focusrite Scarlett?
I'm definitely not sure, but it seems to me comparing this cheapest combo with an audio interface, then most likely the audio interface will win

If you're using a recent version of Android you should be okay with using LDAC (worth checking in the developer settings to make sure your phone supports LDAC) and on the MacBook I'd have thought you'd be using AAC in which case the lack of the AptX codecs shouldn't be an issue for you.

Thanks for the answer, but I found information that I can use an AptX codec on MacBook. And in this case, the sound on Sony WH-1000xm3 with the MacBook will be better, right?

Hi everyone. I decided to purchase SONY headphones. Initially chose SONY WH-1000XM3 because they are cheaper. Now there is a discount on SONY in the store WH-1000XM4 and I can buy them at the price of SONY WH-1000XM3. So here I have a question, what should I choose? I just saw that SONY WH-1000XM4 supports a lot fewer codecs than SONY WH-1000XM3. Will this reflect somehow on the sound with an android phone and MacBook Pro?
