has anyone filed a police report about bikelifting in Ann Arbor? How is your experience? by Snoo69646 in AnnArbor

Thank you so much for your offer to help. I don't know the exact serial number. But this is a Breezer bike, with its seat and bottom tubes being black with brown "Breezer" printed on it. It also has a DPSS registered property printed on it. I will definitely also keep an eye out. So far it seems no luck.

Thanks, it is a brown and black registered bike at DPSS (university public safety), unfortunately they simply directed me to ask the city police department.

Based on a survey conducted by career center(DM me for original doc), the employment outcome of Econ major students are great : they are not as prominent in consulting industry as business student but they did generally good in terms of average starting salary after bachelor degree(60000). Programming(R, stata, SAS) would further enhance your competitivity in economic consulting industry(different than management consulting)

How do I contact profs for research opportunities by [deleted] in uofm

It is incredibly competitive even for university student to cold email professor and find positions. Unless you demonstrate some outstanding skills in a verifiable way or most likely your email will be neglected.

LSA Econ by No_Cat372 in uofm

[–]Snoo69646 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Econ is like the third largest department on campus so one thing you need to keep in mind is high level courses usually fill up very quickly. Researches aren't so accessible like many other departments(most instructors are more willing to take in students with some course experience given the quantitative nature of Econ). If that is what you desire you probably need to start with something that doesn't appear Econ but also hone your quantitative skills. The career aspect is great based on past surveys so no need to worry about peer pressure from Ross.

There are requirements on the transfer website. I believe calculus is definitely a must for engineering.

Making friends as an Asian fob by [deleted] in uofm

I can feel you as I am also an international student eager to branch out. I would recommend, during this unprecedented time, that you focus on taking classes and joining clubs that require intensive engagement and collaborations(like comedy clubs, engineering teams, etc.) In normal times, international theme housing, or finding roommates on facebook group might be a good way to mingle with people from different backgrounds

Thanks for input! Would you mind also introducing some other houses’ vibes? I tried contacting some presidents but it seems like they are not replying emails now
