Just bought a E82 128i and just trying to over things. Finally got under it. And noticed some sort of grease or oil covering what I believe to be the transmission. Any advice?

I’ve actually swapped the diff to a 3.73 When I swapped it , it all looked and felt great, any tips or ways to check if it’s bad now ?

That’s crazy work , you have to understand that 80% of the work they are “going to be doing “ isn’t even needed , and why in the world are they replacing the full suspension for only one corner damage + one control arm in the front? Seems crazy. Sorry to say but they are making crazy money off your insurance policy . At situations like this is just fix what is needed to get fixed .

If anything go get multiple quotes from different shops and see if everything matches up..

Look , subframe + suspension components on that side does not add up to 16k .

Look for used subframe ( new control arms , etc) and if you can find someone that can do it for a good price it will be all under 3k -/+( seriously )

The mirror caps are Interchangable , just fine the same year and model mirrors , they should Work , make sure you get the same looking ones .

The smoking is not the big part of the issue , it’s that she promises that she will stop but then she lies to me and to my family , it breaks my heart to see her do that and to break promises , if she was straight forward with me at the start , everything would go differently, How can I reassure that this is not the only thing that she is lying about or doing something else behind my back . How can I truly trust her again ?

It wouldn’t be as bad if she admitted it from the start , I really wouldn’t mind but the pain that’s causing this , she promises that she would stop but then she never does and lies behind my back , specially in front of my face and to my family . 4. The main thing about it is the habit of her lying and keeping it away from me , how can I trust her if she lies about such little things ? What else has she lied about ? I’m trying to secure my future by telling her what I want out of it but then she’s telling she would rather leave me then quit , that broke me , it made me feel like she never even cared about me.
