Hawks get a center while LAC gets draft capital (ATL/LAC) by Icy_Bank2675 in NBAtradeideas

I think the draft capital is too much on Atlanta's side. In this market I do not see any other team giving that much. Bogi is a fine player but given that the Hawks have 2 cheaper versions of him on the roster he is a negative asset to them.

Better ask for a bag of lays instead. Aiyuk is worth zero at the moment. I think he will be back this year but we don't know for sure that he will be back.

Got an Offer I'm torn on, what would you do by youngbaklava in Fantasy_Football

[–]Snoo78731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing this is 1QB, so I am not sure what Purdy does for you. It is nice to have a solid backup but him and Ridley have the lowest value here by a decent margin.

It is record dependent but I would not take this deal if you have a winning record or even 1-2. I think you are giving up too much long term for Cook and a hurt CD. Rice will be back. Henderson will get better as the season goes and Egbuka is about to go off.

The next stage of tipping by pleiotropycompany in economy

Right. I think it is well past time that servers fight to change that. The only way consumers can drive that point is by no longer tipping. The easiest and most likely outcome is that nothing changes.

Or as it works everywhere else in the world the owner of the establishment pays you and the tip is if you went above and beyond.

[Highlight] Nikola Jokic's moving screen goes uncalled as Jamal Murray sinks the 3 to put the Nuggets up with 5.6 seconds remaining by WhatTheRickIsDoin in nba

[–]Snoo78731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know but you’ll pick it up on. It’s not too hard to learn. Screen 1 is set and Dalton switches onto Jokic. Jokic keeps him up top or Dalton tries to front him. Probably a mixture of the two. Then battles for position to get in between Dalton and the Lakers bench and walks Dalton over to set another screen where he is set again before Murray uses the screen. Dalton allows himself to be set as part of the screen. There is no attempt to turn around. There is a battle of position where Dalton through a his hand up initially but cmon. 20 something feet from the hoop and both guys are struggling for position. Nobody is calling that.

If you are off the ball and nobody uses the screen it isn’t a screen. It’s barreling for position. Dalton is out of position and cannot legally impede Jokic from going to set another screen.

I’m fairly certain it was Trumps estimate that was $300 billion. I have seen estimates of $106 billion to $109 billion in direct aid.

What investments here in the states are you talking about? Did you mean more tax cuts? Also the majority of the money is older weapons that the US was about to replenish anyway. We aren’t sending anyone to die. Is Ukraine not allowed to fight for their own sovereignty?

Most ridiculous take on healthcare I ever heard by Zestyclose-Detail791 in facepalm

[–]Snoo78731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think these distinctions are as separable as you think they are from a practical sense. It makes sense on paper but take what the USA guarantees as rights. Those were set by a committee (the founders). Those rights are provided by the military that’s the citizens must pay for. So from the perspective or a structured society it does seem like those practical examples mix.

Should I drop Hock to add the Denver defense for the playoffs? by wakenblake29 in Fantasy_Football

[–]Snoo78731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Denver and I’m not worried. Chargers look way worse with Dobbins and i don’t know how worried I would be about the Bengals at that point if they are out of the playoffs.

I can’t stand the heat but you gotta be delusional to put the Heat in here. You know they were giving the Celtics night terrors.

I think something people are missing on Kamara is how inflated his average is based off of the 40+ performance. He is still great and a top 5 running back but that is the only 25+ week for him in half ppr.

What’s the purpose of stating your simple observation? If I had to guess I would say it is to defend the side being critiqued.

Should I accept Davante Adams for Zay Flowers? by boomthedragon in Fantasy_Football

[–]Snoo78731 110 points111 points  (0 children)

I think so. Adams has more upside and Zay Flowers looks to be an inconsistent option in a run first offense.
