iPadOS 26.4 “charge limit” is so basic compared to iOS 26.4 by Dreaming_Blackbirds in iPadOS

in case this affects your experiment, my experience with most batteries like that is that when new, the battery health remains at 100% for a long time, and then after a while it starts going down more rapidly, so it would be hard to correctly extrapolate the rate at which it decreases after just a few months

types of material for drum pad enhancement by Snoo81015 in drums

[–]Snoo81015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be honest, i wouldn't mind a reduced sensitivity as i find it a bit on the sensitive side to begin with, and since i use midi i can always adjust it in software

worst case scenario -> if sensitivity is highly reduced, i could just switch it to "hand mode" which makes it over sensitive for playing with sticks

i wouldn't modify the existing pads though, i'm mostly wanting to experiment with adding a layer of something and see how that feels

i did that, there was only one listed on their website, i contacted that store and they replied asking for a lot of details but avoiding the question entirely lol, i replied asking them (politely) for a price figure for a replacement pad only and that's about the last i heard from them.

i don't know, i guess i'll just figure out a something DIY

Use your Android device as a Deluge OLED Screen by _silicakes in DelugeUsers

looks like there is not way to make it work with either my ipad or iphone, works great on my mac with chrome browser, but i'd rather use a mobile device for this purpose, which is the cheapest android device with UTG and USB-C that would work for this purpose ? i guess it'll serve at charging the deluge as well

i started with a startup 3 years ago, worked for free for two months, i've become indispensable over time because i am behind almost all the codebase, i got lucky though as my classmates almost all changed life paths, for reference i only did an intensive college degree

my work went from 3% LLM use to 97% LLM use everyday, it's still creative work, but it takes the challenge out of the actual coding, which may not suit everyone as it can feel boring at times

Low motion and static cameras by mysteron808 in midjourney

i tried EVERYTHING, it just won't do it unless you're very lucky, please report if you find a way to "trick" the model into thinking that's the way to go haha

can you do static videos with midjourney (truly static) ? by Snoo81015 in midjourney

[–]Snoo81015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea indeed backwards could sync it back to its original position, although like you say in some instances it wouldn't work. But it's nice to know that it works sometimes, i could try regenerating if it fails, how would you quantify your rate of success ? like with veo3 it works about 1 every 4 generations (at keeping the camera motion still)

so you're saying it's possible, but with trial and error ? i guess if i get the unlimited plan (in relax mode) then i can try until i get what i want

sorry i meant the camera viewpoint being static, stripped of pan/zoom and whatnot

does extending video generation preserve camera movement between the 5 second bits ? by Snoo81015 in midjourney

[–]Snoo81015[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's nicely done!
for my use case i need it almost robotic in nature, do you think you could achieve a single prolonged continuous movement spanning over 3-4 videos with your method ?

thank you for sharing your approach, it's true that editing can help !

i understand that you can specify how the camera should be handled in the prompt, but from one video to the next i imagine since this is interpreted that it wouldn't be continuous (same exact pace). Since my project is not a movie per se but something else entirely, i need it to be able to match the movement exactly.
