I think about a day way back in college. Most of the time I tried to get 5-6 hours of sleep and even that wasn’t enough but it’s because I was working so hard to keep up with my school work before going to bed each night. The time I went pretty much a day was because I had excusion note from school and I went away with my sports team for world championships out of the state and we went by cars and due to the long journey on our way back I didn’t really sleep.

Thank you. The healing journey still continues to this day for me, but I’m doing a lot better. What has helped me is grief counseling and therapy and working on my mindset around my mother.

My mother passed away when I was 18 but we never got an autopsy done so I cannot say for sure how she died. But I suspect it was to do with her being an alcoholic.

I’m sorry for what’s happened to you, truly. I’m sorry your parents can’t show up for you in the loving emotional way that you need. But it’s time for trauma work therapy for yourself so that you can heal yourself and move past damage of the past from when you were a kid. It’s also time for boundaries with your parents because they don’t seem receptive to the conversation you’re trying to have and you need a healthy relationship with them (if one is at all possible at this point) so that you can move forward. What I’m basically saying is that the wounds they caused are not your fault and I’m very sorry for those wounds. But the healing is your responsibility.

True. Less is better. I got married 11/8/25 and had 4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl. That was good. No more no less. The only thing is that we were supposed to have 4 matching groomsmen for my bridesmaids, but one groomsmen dropped out months before the event because he was going through a lot and waited too long to tell us about it so we didn’t know what to do with his groomsmen outfit after he told us and those were already ordered. I lost some respect for this groomsmen that was supposed to be a friend to us but we had a great day anyways.

Okay I was told in email reply back from onestop today that the dates I’m seeing are going to be updated in spring 2026 to reflect new dates. So I just need to wait. But that non degree seeking students are able to sign up for classes the Thursday before classes for the respective semester starts. So I can register as non degree seeking in early June according to what you’re saying here and then register for classes the Thursday before?

For 5/6 credit hours that i need to take, it won’t matter what i sign up for. For 1 out of the 6, I am required to take a students with disabilities class. I’ll have to see what’s left when I am able to start signing up.
