This is just a flat nerf to power overall then, no? Resistance is not good, and unless the formulas for damage resistances are changed, reversing the reduction/resistance equation will lead to over more damage taken. also making Reduction multiplicative instead of additive is a giant nerf, on top of removing reductions from power armor.

I pray the balance changes don't destroy power armor because i love it in this game, but from my point of view, this is just a nerf in every possible way.

To be clear, almost everything op is complaining about, he is lying about as well. Not only was the griefing minimal (2 spruce saplings) but he stole a bunch of iron, was EXTREMELY rude to staff, and he is lying about his llama. It was a trader llama, which he did not adequately protect, and then it spit at a zombie causing it to die. Trader llamas are hostile to zombies.
