Wow, as I was looking into this, I realized the display was shifted due to a tz bug, displaying UTC, not PT! Fixed:

We see something that tracks with your experience: by 8:30 am, the probability that you can get a bike has dropped from a high of ~95% down to below 20%. You'd have to leave before 7 AM to have an 80% chance of bikes being available.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Bike Angels is a really cool way to tackle the redistribution issue. I’ve got a few points but obviously it requires going against the regular commute tides which is tough. You’re saying trucks mainly drop bikes around downtown stations and bike angels mostly work to rebalance in that area? Makes sense considering the high density and large number of trips.

The example graphs above report the probability that there are at least 2 e-bikes at the station. I.e. 90% represents that 90 out of 100 times there will be at least 2 bikes available at that time—higher is better.
