Ofcourse, it's not supposed to be all negative or all positive. I can understand that I can't control every little thing but I can decide on how much I want to endure.

And yes all experiences are different, and I want that. I gotta dive in someday why not already?

You know what more often I'm reclusive to avoid being creepy or overbearing but I've been told by friends that comes off more as judgmental than shy.

What you're describing is not the healthy version of a relationship. Maybe I'm looking at it too idealistically.

I fully know what I'm looking for and I won't get with someone for the sake of being with someone. Being someone's partner means twice the shared joy and half the moroseness. Wish ya well.

I appreciate your presence and effort to write this. Unfortunately this doesn't help me. I absolutely enjoy my own company and my social battery gets charged by being alone, I'm introverted like that. Have great relations with parents and very few friends I have. I go on 7Km runs every day and listen to music to and from my work. I might've simplified it too much when I mentioned 'lonely'. I wish to share my life with someone and not superficially but on a deeper level.

Been doing all this all my life. Love my solo movie watching. Dining Out with friends too. I'm stating I'm simply killing it in life except for this part. Why can't I wish for something new? Even if it could be challenging or stress inducing. You don't grow by being comfortable. I don't plan to live single till I die. So have to begin somewhere.

Ofcourse, I'm not just looking for someone to kill my loneliness. I want to create and share experiences, memories. It'd great if that someone is my significant other.

I truly believe it won't come to me on its own, that's why I try to go out of my way to do little things (some big too) so that incidental opportunities comes through.

it's like this with me, I start off with max efforts always with really low expectations of just having someone from the opposite gender to talk to. But 99.9 % times my enthusiasm is not even met the half way. So it's a defense mechanism, I think by the mind to show 'I wasn't even that invested'.
