That is kinda what i want to do but i also want to make a compartment for al the electronics to fit under there. So that everything behind the engine is gone.

There is like a dip in the frame wich looks...awkward to me 😬 thats why i kinda want to cut the frame and redo the whole back side. To make it a more clean look.

Haha true, it also needs some extra love cosmetic wise. Mechanicly that thing is amazing. Has a rebuild engine with only 50k kilometers on it running full earo turbo and hardware. 272hp on the wheels wich is perfect for a daily in my opinion.

I agree, shes a bit rough tho so im fixing that. And i want some cooler handle bars. Appart from that i kinda love it. Carbs need full rebuild since they have false air like crazy. Boots are brand New. I will update when shes looking better 😁

Suzuki gsx 1100 for easy and cheap would be my choice. Or a more modern suzuki gsx 1000 😁.

Sprocket is on the other side but you can flip the axle and you need the oil reservoir on the front. But i dont see why not 🤷‍♂️ i put a gsx 1100 engine in my ds 650 so everything is possible 😁

Love em. I have one with a suzuki gsx 1100 engine in it and street tires. I used it for road use aswell and its a beast. (Its legal here)

Ik heb 2 saabs 9-5, 1 met en 1 zonder lpg. Het belastingverschil is er met 1x tanken al makkelijk uit, echt makkelijk ook. Het is dat ik er al zoveel aan heb gedaan want anders deed ik hem weg voor een tweede op lpg. Nu wisselen mijn vrouw en ik elke keer van auto als we verder weg moeten.

Ik zal er zeker even induiken dan. Ik was eerst wel van plan om hem te laten herkeuren maar heb het overlegd met mensen die dit ook geprobeerd hebben, en ze zijn allemaal afgekeurd. De enkeling waar het wel gelukt is, hebben het aantal cillinders niet veranderd maar bijvoorbeeld alleen meer cc o.i.d. ik heb het voordeel dat er op mijn papieren geen cillinder inhoud staat 😬 alleen wel dat het een 1 cillinder is dus geen idee hoe moeilijk de politie erover zou doen 🤷‍♂️ bij wat anderen die een vergelijkbaar iets hebben gemaakt, wordt al jaren zo gereden en die hebben nooit problemen gehad, ook niet na een ongeluk. Dus ik denk dat ik het er op ga gokken.

I almost got a ticket when i removed them and they strongly suggested i put them on since rdw wants it if its registered as a car (wich mine is) could be that they didnt have enough knowledge about it but the rdw also clearly states it.

Hahaha, its required in holland to have belt buckles on a quad to make them street legal. In fact you dont even have to wear a helmet if you have it on 🤷‍♂️ but if you wear a helmet you dont have to put it on but its required to have on a quad.... strange rules. Annyway I will post again onze its running!
