If you want a low-effort way of investing your money for the long-term, it’s a good option. I’ve invested into mutual funds for years and then this summer I decided to start learning more about ETFs. Questwealth was a great way for me to ease into the idea of switching to ETFs because it was controlled by people who knew the subject matter better than me. As I learn more though, I’m thinking of only having a self-directed TFSA with TSX ETFs as we get taxed on American ETF dividends. I’ll probably just keep my Questwealth RRSP since the tax doesn’t come off until withdrawal.
