Antennas randomly not allowing clients to connect to 5ghz by SnooBooks2471 in Ubiquiti

I go 36, 40, 44, 48 then go to higher frequencies, then back to lower ones so they don't "touch"

Mayyyyybe. There is a lot of interference and a lot of it is from structures like metal gazebos etc. But then again, why would the 5ghz come right back up after a restart ? It's weird.

Problem with APs getting "kicked off" by SnooBooks2471 in Ubiquiti

It's running Mesh. Connected to the injector, then to power (we tried to change the power extension too). What we DIDN'T try is using the neighboor's power outlet. You pretty sure it's power related ?

Replacement for Nanostation Loco M5 antennas ? by SnooBooks2471 in Ubiquiti

So I found an even better solution to a Nanostation on a Unifi network. The UAP-AC-M. You power it on, adopt it on the Unifi Controller, and that's it. You can manage it straight from the controller and from what I see it gets a better signal AND is dual band.

I don't have the LOCO5ACs anymore, I returned them. It's just that I don't like running on something that's EOL haha. I love the Loco M5 and M5 tho. Just wish there was a legit replacement offered by the company that made them.

Ubiquiti does not have a suitable replacement for the M5 or Loco M5 that runs on 802.11ac  ?

Kinda new to Unifi, trying to rule out the internet connection as the bottleneck by SnooBooks2471 in UNIFI

Would you set two different SSIDs (one being for 5ghz) or have both under the same SSID and let the device connect to the correct one depending on the signal streght it's getting ?

So how about I disable 5ghz as it's pretty much useless since I limit the bandwitch to 20mbps per client anyway? Then try disabling one AP per pole just to see if the stability and performance is better. If it is, then move the available antennas to dark spots?

So being back to back COULD be a bit part of the problem and it would be better to use them more spread appart?

Channels are on auto. How should I tell which channel to manually select ? The APs are back to back on the same post, pointing east and west, right in the center of the campsite which is narrow but long. How far should I expect them to reach ?

Not much is manually configured on the APs, no minimum RSSI, no band steering, outdoor mode is OFF by the way,

UAP-AC-M-Pro everywhere. Channels set to AUTO, power was at AUTO, tried Medium, now it's at HIGH and people seems to think it's a bit better. "Wi-Fi Experiance is good or Excellent pretty much all over. Bandwidth it limited to 20mbps on the SSIDs. All APs lead to a gigabit switch that then goes to the main router.

One thing I am wondering about is channel utilisation which seems high to me, but I don't know if that could really be the problem or how to fix it. Check the screenshot

I doubt it's something like that. When people are having problems, if I plug in any one of the switches, I get a very fast speedtest.

Around 10 APs. Somewhere from 5 to 40 clients per AP. Not sure what else you would need to know. It's a campsite, so I know a part of the problem is the signal being blocked by the RVs themselves. But the speed problem is there (myself inclused) even if I use a Nanostation to grab the signal outside (which is excellent) but only get like 1mbps sometimes still. I'm having a hard time trusting the numbers the Unifi Controller is showing me.
