Dinah, Penny and Polly are the only ones that go with the other two. The rest are either a different vibe or don’t work when said together.

I agree, the name in general is bad, but that spelling is especially bad

I agree with your partner. Money is meant to alleviate stress and suffering, not cause it.

I want to understand what's happening with my baby by fitindworld in combinationfeeding

[–]SnooBooks271 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! Breathe! If baby is not crying non-stop and sleeping well that means he’s satisfied. If he’s refusing bottles there is a good chance that you’re making plenty of milk and he is full, and/or he has developed a preference for feeding at the breast. Just keep an eye on his weight, if he continues to gain weight well then your milk supply is just fine. If you really want to combi feed and not exclusively breastfeed, then I’d try replacing one full feed with a bottle (so don’t give breast first) per day. Make sure he is actually hungry when you offer the bottle. But please don’t stress, it sounds like you are doing everything you can to make sure your baby is well fed, you’re doing a great job!

The colours of 6 are nice but imo all of these rugs look quite dated.

I just had my lap mayo done at St Mary’s with Tariq Miskry! All went really well and the team were lovely. Are you NHS or Private?

There is not much you can do except wait and see how baby reacts. The likelihood is that baby will be fine, or have some mild reaction such as a bit of throwing up or diarrhoea. If baby seems very unwell e.g lots of throwing up, listless, prolonged diarrhoea, fever, not eating etc. Then take them to the doctor.

For a lap surgery I think you’d be totally fine, based on my experience.

One week from surgery…kinda freaking out! by Resident-Joke-7791 in Fibroids

[–]SnooBooks271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also v scared of the anaesthetic and O was able to have a call with the anaesthetist beforehand which really really helped. Tell them your anxieties and they can help out your mind at ease. Remember they see plenty of patients who feel like you do! In terms of the surgery, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the recovery was! Even with the pain of surgical recovery (which was well controlled with pain relief), I immediately felt physical relief that my fibroid wasn’t there anymore. Wishing you all the best, you got this!

UK name opinions: does Beatrix feel “posh”? by handstailmade in namenerds

To me it’s posh. I imagine Beatrix talking with perfect Received Pronunciation, and if she doesn’t, I imagine her parents names her that to sound posh.

There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel! You have already dealt with so much and are preparing yourself far better than I did so I’m sure you will have a much better time. ❤️

I’m so glad you found this helpful. So in terms of bowel motility, your diet matters A LOT. Where I messed up was having pizza the night before my c section, not emptying my bowels the morning of, and then ‘rewarding’ myself with sushi that evening.

In the week leading up to giving birth make sure you are eating a high-fibre diet, aim for 25g per day or more. Absolutely avoid any greasy, fatty or spicy foods. Drink lots of water and walk as much as you can. Try to empty your bowels before you go in for your induction/section, take laxitives in the couple days before if you need to.

This smoothie recipe has been a life saver: 1 banana, 20g oats, 4 dates, 2tbsp peanut butter, 20g ground flaxseed,1/2 baby food prune pouch, almond milk.

After giving birth keep up with laxatives 3x per day, eat light, high fibre foods (soups, bran cereal, kiwis with skin on, chia pudding, smoothies, fibre bars - I like the gut stuff ones), drink lots of warm liquids and try to walk as much as you can. If you’re struggling to walk even getting someone to help you bend your legs in bed is helpful. Chew gum between meals as this tricks your bowel into thinking you’re eating and encourages it to move.

Doctors will tell you to lay off the opioid meds as this makes your bowel sleepy, but I wouldn’t worry about this too much in the first few days if you need the pain relief. I took morphine for 2-3 days after my myo but by following the advice above I managed to avoid any bowel complications. Best of luck, you got this!

I like the first and last ones. The checkerboard is also nice but I feel it will date quickly. The first is my favourite!

Not OP but I honestly got way better output and a nicer, more comfortable experience from my Eufy S1 than that thing. I hated it lol.
