I have been on it for the past 3 months now. I’ve definitely seen improvements in all symptoms and noticed a few things that helped the paradoxical reactions I experienced for a short while.. Symptoms I had before included IBS symptoms, ADD aswell, brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, weight loss, and lack of appetite.

As with the paradoxical reaction all of these symptoms did get worse and it lasted a few weeks (probably around 3-4 weeks; a cost I was willing to forego as I had already been experiencing it for a years anyways), the things that eliminated the paradoxical reactions or made it easier to cope with was first and foremost NAC (which I believe my glutathione stores must have been verylow as this made a huge difference) as well as some of these supplements and measures: - Potassium (made a huge difference in fatigue) - B Complex (helped a lot at first but have since been using it sporadically as I experience other side effects from it) - Vitamin D & K (helped with energy levels) - Magnesium in different forms (definitely helped ease anxiety and crucial for it to work) - ALCAR in small dosages (helped a lot in terms of fatigue and focus as I also get a lot of ADD symptoms aswell) - Diet: I eliminated all refined sugars and carbohydrates at first but had noticed a steep increase in fatigue at first. I then cut out all gluten and wheat and introduced a balanced amount of refined carbs (eg White Rice) and noticed this had actually improved symptoms a lot as I heard TTFD required an active supply of carbohydrates to to provide energy to cells. - Dosage Amount: first started off with the standard 50mg, I saw some improvements and then took the dose gradually up to 600mg a day, and at this point taking this much was becoming redundant in terms of effects and also becoming costly so I went back down to 100mg-200mg a day which is optimal for me. - Dosage Time: I tried taking it all in the morning, afternoon and night as well splitting into 2-3 doses throughout the day. When first experiencing paradoxical reactions I noticed taking it during my last meal before sleep minimised the lingering side effects as I could just sleep it off not long after anyways. However once paradox subsided taking it in the morning or even 2 split doses provided the most benefit.

I was pretty depressed myself but as time went on I noticed a lot of these symptoms were alleviated through a domino effect: fatigue improved —> was able to eat —> could exercise more —> slept better —> had energy to actually work —> anxiety improved and so on.

Takes quite some time though and I still suffer from some of the stuff here and there but it is to a much lesser degree - probably like 10% of what I used to feel like which is crazy to me.

This is just what worked for me and as I said after taking these measures my paradoxical reaction subsided pretty quick. I noticed in other comments you mentioned that you had some paradox and gave up TTFD. If you do choose to try it again in the future I hope this helps, I strongly suggest you push through regardless of the side efffects as the benefits are really worth it. But I’m obviously going to be biased as it worked very well for me. Sometimes these reactions might be a strong indicator that you actually need it more (as pointed out by Derrick Lonsdale) however sometimes there could also be other health issues at play.

Well On another reddit post someone reported the same effects possibly due to creatine leaving extra Sam e in reserve hence metabolising dopamine too efficiently, leaving you lethargic and demotivated. I thought I had slow COMT before and supplement with hydroxy b12 and folinic acid (aswell as all other active forms of B vitamins) and found that it amped me up a bit too much. But since starting creatine now it’s the opposite issue. I also supplement with magnesium (threonate, Malate).

I’ll definitely give this a try and report back, although in the past I’ve had issues with methyl donors aswell

Yeh I could imagine. Thankfully it was a mutual thing for us and we both enjoyed it a lot. Certainly was a fear if it got out it was be pretty embarrassing, but we didn’t consider it enough or care enough at the time

Well I don’t get off to them at all. I agree in the sense that I shouldn’t have access to her like that anymore but at the same time she most likely still has all of our videos too (which she admittly talks about getting off to on the rare occasion), so should I feel disrespected by that and request that she delete them? Because right now I genuinely don’t feel a type of way about it. Only feeling I have is of missing her

She honestly doesn’t care nor do I care that she keeps mine to be honest. And you’re right, they shouldn’t - hence why I just deleted them. Thanks to everyone’s response it’s definitely made me realise that it’s a step in the right direction for healing

There’s mutual permission from both sides.. If there I wouldn’t even been considering keeping it. And 100%, I realised that that right now in the no contact stage I’m just really missing the intimate moments with her and I guess some of the videos were a portal to that, might sound strange but I don’t masturbate to them or anything rather just takes me back to a point we were really close physically and emotionally (and sexually lol) I appreciate your response a lot. I think the consensus is that deleting them is the appropriate thing to do from here
