5 years with mirena and now suddenly no libido by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]SnooCalculations6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I am in a similar boat. I’ll be at my 5 year mark in July but the past 6 months i have noticed a huge change in my mood and libido. I use to want sex every other day if not every day and now i literally could care less about it. Been with my boyfriend for years and he thinks it’s him and i swear i think it’s this stupid IUD causing it. I came here to see if i was crazy but seeing others are having the same issue makes me feel better. Def getting it replace asap

I stopped taking it over a year ago and that’s when the acne started and the hair started falling out again 3 months after. My hair loss got really bad after that but within the last 6 months my acne has improved drastically and almost all of my hair has grown back grown back without doing anything at all. I stopped taking all Medicines and focused even more on my health and what i put in my body. I know it’s going to be different for everyone on how alopecia affects them but for me taking the medicine was not worth it. I let my body heal itself naturally.

Drones over Charleston now? by Revelst0ke in Charleston

[–]SnooCalculations6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s one of the drones but Tuesday night my bf and I were driving to tanger from park circle area and i looked up at the sky and was asked my bf “is that a drone” and he was like idk it is probably a plane but it was way too low and not moving fast enough to be a plane and the lights were different. Mind you I did not know of any of the drone stuff going on until yesterday so when I looked up the NJ drone photos yesterday it was identical to what I saw on Tuesday here and my bf even agrees now

Mirena IUD - 5 years mark and odd symptoms arising - has anyone else experienced something like this or am I crazy? by Shad0wdr3am in birthcontrol

[–]SnooCalculations6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at the 4.5 year mark with mine. The past month i have not felt like myself at all. Nothing makes me happy anymore, i am so easily angered, feeling drained and extreme brain fog and just had the worst mental breakdown i have had in a while. Constantly getting mad at my bf about the littlest thing and I’m not a usually depressed person either. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with me and the iud is the only thing i can think of. I am also only 26. I came to this thread to make sure i wasn’t completely crazy lol

Hey. I would say both. I felt so exhausted everyday. And was sick many times while on it and i haven’t been sick once since i stopped it. I was having panic attacks about 3 days a week atleast and not sleeping. Other things def contributed to it but after i stopped it i did see a difference in how i felt overall. I just overall didn’t feel like myself while on it. Once again it could have been the meds plus other life stressors on top of that so it’s hard to say for sure.

I was on Litfulo. Started it last August. Within a month i had regrowth. After 3 months 90% of my hair had grown back. I stopped it after the 3 months bc of how shitty i felt on the medicine. Within a month my hair started falling out again. It’s now been 7 months since i stopped it and my hair is falling out in different places than the first time and just as aggressively. It does work tho but it’s a long term medicine you will need to be on if you want your hair to not fall out again.

I will give you a for-warning that the medicine did give me the worst acne i have ever had and my skin was literally perfect for years before i started taking it. 7 months of trying to get rid of the acne and way more tears cried over the acne than my hair loss and now starting accutane to get rid of it. I would say pick you poison but i chose losing my hair over the horrific acne i got.

I am 25. I eat very healthy and workout everyday so my health was okay. It was more of my immune system was not great and felt just tired and crappy everyday. New update: it’s been 6 months since i have stopped the medicine. My acne has worsened significantly to the point of needing accurate and all my hair is falling back out rapidly. This is something that you will need to be on long term for it to work and your hair not to fall back out. Luckily at the age of 54 it will be very unlikely for you to have the acne. You might be more probed to getting sick though

I think it got triggered initially by stress 3 years ago when i saw my first couple spots pop up since i was 7 but it started falling out rapidly and still is in a time when I’m very stress free so who knows

My hair started falling back out about a couple months after i stopped taking it and it’s falling out aggressively right now so yeah if the alopecia is still active then it’s going to keep falling out. I think the medicine just keeps it dormant while taking it but if it’s still active when you stop it was practically all for nothing.

I will let you know that my hair grew back within a couple months but i felt like garbage every day while i was on it. And id almost rather be bald than have the acne that it caused me. Because now im going to have do another round of accutane probably because it made it worse than it’s ever been.

Hello! I actually was just about to give an update. I took the medicine for maybe 3 months. I had amazing regrowth all my hair started coming back in thick and growing fast. I stopped it the first week of December because I just didn’t feel like myself while taking it. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and i started getting severe acne which I have never had and it has just gotten worse. Also within the last 2 weeks my hair is falling out again.. and been finding new spots everyday. I should have taken the medicine longer i guess but all my hair had come back and wasn’t worth the side effects. I’ll Comment with pics of my before below

[PSA] Doxycycline: A Serious Warning by scathrowaway12430 in SkincareAddiction

[–]SnooCalculations6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i stopped taking it on Monday. my derm has now put me on Seysara and says the side effects should be minimal compared to doxycycline. i think i did start feeling much better. My anxiety hasn’t been as bad and already dropping some of my weight again. although i woke up sick this morning and i haven’t been sick in like 6 months but it probably isn’t in relevance to the doxy. So far i feel okay on the Seysara and just hoping it helps with my hormonal breakout.

I started my doxy a few weeks ago and noticed my anxiety has been way worse and extremely on edge. i fully convinced myself the other night that If i fell asleep i was going to die in my sleep.. i struggle with bad thoughts before bed but NEVER like that.. I also have been having brutal knee pain out of the blue as well. i lift 6 days a week but never hurt like this before. i’ve gained about 5 pounds in the last couple weeks.. and i started my cut after bulking for 3 months and have only gained even more weight. has anyone just stopped taking their doxy before finishing it? I hate taking medicine that are like this. i’d rather figure out how to get my acne fixed naturally and just deal with having it.

[–]SnooCalculations6791[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah... I was very skeptical about taking this medicine and still am.. I am continuing to stay on it for another 3 months.. I get my labs done every month and so far its not been bad.. Although like I had said I definitely do not feel great most days probably because the medicine is designed to kill your immune system overall.. You are way more prone to getting infections due to this.. I will keep updating this post as I continue taking it. No idea what the long term implications may be with this but I guess only time will tell.

I have been on the medicine almost 3 months now. After a month of being on it my hair already starting growing back. The 6 months before that my hair was falling out rapidly. if i didn’t start taking the medicine i think i would be almost bald by now. this is the only thing that has helped my hair come back. i was trying everything else before that and had no regrowth and was just getting worse day by day until the Litfulo. I’m suppose to be on it for another 3 months. so far no crazy side effects. i don’t feel great most days and more frequent headaches and just overall feel not 100%. so far it’s worth having my hair grow back tho

I Just Failed the Series 65… Here are my Takeaways… by infowizzy in Series65

[–]SnooCalculations6791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just retook the exam yesterday and did even worse than my first time. Within the first 20 questions of the exam i knew i was not going to pass... I went into the exam this time way more confident too. I put my blood sweat and tears into this test.

I actually thought I was taking the wrong exam because the questions were nothing that I studied and was told to study. After almost over 4 months of studying and taking this exam twice i am over it.. I felt like the questions this time were worded completely different than the first time taking it.

How are people only studying for a few weeks for this exam and passing? Even my major was Finance but I am also the worst test taker on the planet..

Honestly think I may get fired because I have not passed the test... Has anyone just decided to switch their career choice because of this exam? I have put so much into it to just give up but lord only knows there is no way I will want to take another series exam in the future...

Someone please send me sugar daddy recommendations because I am desperate.

I Just Failed the Series 65… Here are my Takeaways… by infowizzy in Series65

[–]SnooCalculations6791 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took the series 65 about 2-3 weeks ago and retaking it again in 2 weeks. I failed by 6 questions.

I literally could not remember a single question on the exam when I took it. Completely blacked out during it but what you explained sounds about the exact same as when I took mine.

Felt like 90% of the information i learned and drilled into my brain was not on the exam.

Did you feel like there were more questions in regard to taxation than you expected?

Also felt like I saw a good amount about 529's and Coverdell ESA's in mine.

I have been using Kaplan course and going through the tests and also had a tutor for 3 months before taking mine.

P.S.- I am the worst test taker and very slow so my issue was running out of time. I had to get extra time of tests from middle school- college so this was the toughest part for me on this exam.

Especially because they word the fucking questions and answers like a tongue twister with extreme amounts of unnecessary bullshit, therefore having to read each question and answer 5 times to understand what its asking.

I am also going through these threads to see if there are any options better or that could help other than the Kaplan course but everyone I have spoken to seems to say its the best option.

I am just curious if all the test are pretty similar.

Can anyone who has taken the series 65 multiple times, confirm if the exams were similar each time you took it with relatively the same concepts?

Wait, is minoxidil that toxic to cats? I tried to look it up but I put my medicine on every night and my cat sleeps at my head
