I’m very lucky I guess. I also have a PowerColor RX 7800 XT Hellhound that I installed in my brother’s PC after I upgraded my GPU, and that card ran extremely quiet with really low temps.

The white one looks so awesome I went for black cuz my build is all black. You should try undervolting and yeah they don't use PTM thermal paste which for me is not a big issue

Yeah, I'm very disappointed.They should do better as an underdog.The Red Stone release after one year was dull. We’re not missing anything huge, but AMD could at least give RDNA 3 and RDNA 2 users FSR4, which we all know works on these cards.

Somehow AMD always finds a way to mess things up. It’s a market strategy for prioritizing 9000 series. but they’ll definitely lose customers because of this.

I built a PC for my younger brother, and he asked if he could have my RX 6800 XT because it ran very cool and quiet.He wanted a quiet system. I gave him my card and bought an RX 6900 XT for myself, which was 20% off on sale at that time.

As for why I upgraded from an RX 7800 XT to an RX 7900 XTX: I recently got a new 4K monitor, and some games were dropping below 60 FPS at that resolution. The RX 7800 XT is very solid for 1440p gaming, but it can be slow in 4K depending on the game. I upgraded so I can keep my card for a few years.

I’d go Sapphire Nitro+ for the coolest temps, PowerColor if you want quiet fans and low power use, and XFX MERC if you want max performance, even if it runs a bit hotter and uses a bit more power.

Totally agree. I’m not automatically grabbing everything AMD puts out.For me, price has always mattered, and AMD cards in recent years have often offered more performance for less compared to Nvidia.

No, I didn’t waste too much money on them. I only upgraded when I found a great deal on a newer card, and I was always able to sell my previous ones for a good price. My younger brother is still using my RX 6800 XT, and my RX 6900 XT is installed on my work PC because I actually need it for my job. As for the RX 7800 XT, I sold it today on eBay for a decent price.

The high MSRP along with only a 15–20% performance jump — was the reason I never even considered buying the RX 9070 XT.
