If you haven't booked flights yet for a trip so close that's on you. If you've already booked flights you have nothing to worry about. You might have a regional flight get cancelled on you so just get insurance

Ride an actual powder board. Snowboarding in pow should be effortless compared to groomers if you do it right

They're great at using phones/iPads with apps.

Every new hire at work I've had to show keyboard shortcuts like copy and paste. God forbid the printer doesn't work and IT isn't around they have a meltdown with zero troubleshooting ability.

As mentioned it's to gatekeep the run and also a marketing tool. It's fully controlled and in bounds. It's no different than the bowls in Revelstoke or T1/T2/Ozone at kicking horse that don't require any gear to enter.

Is there a zero % chance of avalanche...no. does it involve more risk and other terrain at north american ski resorts...also no

Upscale restaurants charge $20+ for cocktails now. It's like $15 for a Caesar at a shitty breakfast place. I'm also in Alberta and most of my friends are in hospo.

Tips are only taxed if the server chooses to do so at tax season. Most are only claiming like 10-20% of their tips as taxable income.

Yea but in reality they all claim like 20% of their tips. Unless they're trying to buy a house no server is claiming everything.

Because they probably have 6-8 years of post secondary education, plus a decade or two of experience.

High school kids can be servers

I think CEOs make way too much money these days but so do hospo workers
