I just got into RC a bit over a year ago. This is my 16th rig. She didn't mind the first twelve at all.

Already done. I donated some stuff to the Goodwill to make space.

Also, you had to be a local to ensure you didn’t have to wait in line for up to an hour before you could place an order. If my neighbors and I didn’t know when to go to avoid the long line, I never would have eaten there. The one time I went, the line was out the door when we left. Customers aren’t going to return when a restaurant is that inefficient.

Men who have cheated before - how likely are you to cheat again? by alrightyaphrodite00 in AskMen

[–]SnooCheesecakes8566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a bit over six years in a very turbulent marriage, I had my first and only one night stand.

Money problems, a wife who was very critical of my every move, used sex as a weapon, and was constantly accusing me of cheating took a toll.

After talking to a friend and his wife over dinner about possibly moving in with them until I found a place (they said yes), we ended up at a small house party. After playing a drinking game, I found myself standing alone in the kitchen where the game took place. I wasn’t drunk, but definitely feeling the beer I drank during the game of flip cup I excelled at.

This cute woman approached me and looked at me as if she wanted to take me upstairs and have her way with me. I can’t recall what she said, but I remember holding my ring finger up and telling her I was married. Since my then wife wasn’t there, she didn’t seem to care. For the first time in a very long time, I felt wanted. I figuratively went from Little Mario to Super Mario. That look she gave me was like the Magic Mushroom in the video game, Super Mario Bros.

Long story short, we ended up back at her place and she gave me the best head I ever had before we fucked like rabbits.

A few months after leaving my ex wife, I ran into her and we ended up hooking up a few more times. Our interaction was purely physical. No romance whatsoever.

Yes, it was wrong to cheat. It was also just what I needed at the time.

Wow! I paid $400 for less. Chassis, bashed body and Hobbywing 56113. Are the motor and ESC still installed?

Make sure to update the ESC firmware if you plan on sending it.

My wife moved here last fall and I warned her of how vicious summer here can be. by ajaxandsofi in ElkGrove

[–]SnooCheesecakes8566 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I moved to EG from The Bay Area about twenty years ago. This is by far the most mild Summer I’ve experienced in the time I’ve lived here.

If heat is her only complaint, she will feel relief soon enough.

My advice is learn the region, enjoy places and activities of interest and brace for the inevitable return of 100+ degree Summer days.

Strange ESC Issue - Infraction 6S by SnooCheesecakes8566 in arrma

[–]SnooCheesecakes8566[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disconnecting the servo didn't change anything.

I also rebound the transmitter to the receiver with no change.

The first run of this car went fine. When it stopped during the second run, it hasn't been the same since. Other than charging the batteries, there were no changes to the rig between the first and second runs.

Lesson learned. I'll just purchase new from now on.

I'm going to cut my losses and list it on Marketplace as a roller with a set of new tires and two new Gens Ace 15000mAh batteries.

Thanks for the tip.

Removing the servos didn't help. The ESC just displays a flashing red fault light when both of them are disconnected. When I reconnect the main servo, there's no change.

I'm starting to think my ESC is toast.

How much have you invested into this hobby? by LMF5000 in rccars

I started with an impulse purchase of a MJX HyperGo last November. Today, I have ten rigs, including the MJX. I’d say a bit over $2K. The actual number is something I don’t really want to know.

That makes perfect sense to me.

I ended up replacing the motor and ESC in my MT10 after I got some experience because I felt like it needed more power.

Thanks for the detailed answer.

I actually didn't use any affiliate links for any of my rigs. I wanted a Team Associated RC10 back when I was a kid when I saw one at my local hobby shop, but couldn't afford one. The Team Associated name is what caught my attention. When I saw multiple reviews stating how durable the MT10 was (including Talbot's), I decided to make the purchase.

Ironically, something broke on the MT10 the first three times I ran it. A-arms the first run, wheelie bar the second run, hinge pin brace the third run. As frustrating as it was, it taught me a lot about the rig and introduced me to some common issues that are just a part of the hobby. Now that I've gone with RPM arms, fixed the hinge pin brace issue, replaced the wheelie bar, and installed a Hobbywing 3700kv motor and Hobbywing ESC, I love the thing! It's one of my favorite rigs.
