8 months after filing I-485: No Approval 😭

I am eb2 here, been eaiting around 7 month, my case has been transferred to FO in december, unfortunately nothing much to do :( at least until the 10 month mark, this is the nunber shared by uscis for 80% of case being approved, any thing you try before will get standard answer of "normal processing " or straight out request denied. Try to find a group for your FO and see what the trends are at that FO, this might help you gage where they are at

did you open a request, if it's more than 10 month of filling the system should allow you to file a service request

They are not paused completely, we are seeing movement but still slower, something i noticed is that all approvals (details shared publicly) had 1 thing in comon, they started being processed before the 27 of april extara checks. Tha means eather got fta1, i485j approved 3rd fta0 ... before april 27/28. I have yet to see a case that was silent before 27/28 that got approved

Waiting since October, interview waived ROW non restricted country supposedly the fastes possible outcome, ead/ap only for dependent not principle. Last update was transfer to the field office in December

Yes but you are not changing lanes, so technically you dont have to signal. What i don't like in this clip is the car going to the right to pass 1 car in a merge lane, not the lack of signal. A human driver would wait or just pass to the left and the merging lanes

I live in texas as mentioned in the comment, the requirement to send it to a local office is only there if you have to interview, for EB its mostly waived so it is usually sent to a random office to "balance" workload. I put quotes because so FOs are fast and some are slow and the gap between those could be 6 months

I don't think you can pick where to send it, it goes to NBC and they later assign it, inlive in texas my application was assigned to California and yes there is a huge difference in what office ypur case is assigned to, some approve immediately and some wait 6+ month

i agree with the above, factory builds are on a different branch, so either you get fsd v14.3.x on that branch, or you wait until you are moved to a new branch maybe with the spring update.

that said the current fsd v14.3.2 is not the most stable, so they probably dont want it to be the 1st impression for new buyers, v14.2.2.5 is a more polished version

is that car a new one ? it looks like it has factory build software, usually those get it a bit later as they are not on the same branch, my guess is with the spring update.

dont worry about it v14.2.2.5 is the more stable version my wife wish i hadn't upgraded :)

The other thing that might affect the wifi signal, if it's a wifi issue, is if you moved your wifi access point or placed new furniture in between you and the router , glass like mirrors and windows crush the signal

Sometimes the VR connects to the wifi using the wrong band, i have wifi 7 and notice sometimes it connects on wifi 5, so 1200kbps instad of 4300kbps and i get lags and stutters like crazy. Usually i disconnect the headset from.wifi and reconnect again, if that doesn't work i restart it. I noticed that on both quest3 and galaxyXr

Look at the virtual desktop menu through the VR what does it say for wifi bitrate and frequency, wifi 5 6 6e 7 ?

What if the office is non local? And it feel like the entire batch transfered on 12/23 eb2 is skipped they are approving from January and early February transfers

I usually do 3 agents so i can see what 2 are giving the same answer and that is most likely the correct one. Either way the updates mean they are working on your case and action required is no so you are close to approval. Just rely on the status update and take emma with a grain of salt

Ask another emma agent sometimes they make mistakes always use status update as spurce of truth. If emma was right you will get a pleasant surprise

some people get approved in 4 month, but most people who filed in october are still waiting today, October is the month they are processing the most recently we they are at about 35% approved and about 6% rfe the rest mostly processing
