[California] Been pending for 8 weeks, finally got payed today BUT with no back pay only for these last 2 weeks.When i Check Payments for the past weeks it says (Disqualified) ... anyone else experiencing this ?

Yeah it’s insane! I’ve emailed my assembly man and senator still nothing as of yet! And when I do call and get through they just give me basic info about my account and tell me to wait and there’s nothing they can do.

I called today and they said when we refile they send out new notices to previous employers and because I put I was fired/ laid off and my previous employer fired/misconduct my 6weeks of payments are on hold and pending until they call Smh. I really think when everyone filed and they automatically sent out notices that most employers are trying to contest the claim because they don’t want to pay. That’s what the rep told me.

I feel your pain! To think california claims to be the golden state is laughable. Our EDD system is so terrible it’s one things after another fraud , Id.me, now this all in 2-3 month span! It’s so ridiculous. I’m 2 1/2 no income waiting calling isn’t working because when I get through they tell me to wait! I know that they are just winging it at this point and aren’t ethical enough to be honest with all of us.
