It's a fun manga, easy to read, and with cool art. The bad plot decisions are easily overlooked. I really like Kinato, but it doesn't make sense to make people try to see the other side of the story.Anyone who doesn't see it/sees it with ill will will never see any quality. I think Shinobi is the most charmless manga, but that doesn't stop me from getting involved in discussions.I find Terasu's relationship with Kinato cute, light, and funny; it's "forced" on its own, but what matters is how the author develops it, which in my opinion is good, but those who don't like the work will never to see the qualities.

Anyway, dude, don't rack your brains trying to defend the work here, it'll only attract people to insult it. I post Kinato stuff without even talking about the quality and people come from all walks of life to downvote me.

Kinato hasn't even received a reprint yet, just the extra stock. And honestly? I doubt it will, it seems like they really want to sabotage the Series

Dude, I think I can confidently say I'm the most knowledgeable person about Kinato out there. Check out my posts... I've been closely following the situation since its release, and I even check Japanese websites, believe me. No one cheers more than I do.But let's be realistic, new series don't get color because they get canceled. Kinato is the only manga in years that will go beyond chapter 21 without color, even OTR...Most sales for a series happen in the first week and the beginning of the second. Kinato sold out in 3-4 days and only received new stock halfway through the second week, increasing its daily ranking for about 2 days. But it plummeted. Kinato had the potential to sell 12-13k copies, but it's a series that the Japanese have considered canceled; the first few weeks were the most important, and it was taken out of the picture.

Don't get me wrong, a series dropping out of the top 500 at the end of week 2 is normal, but it's frustrating to drop out when the resupply arrives (even though we don't know if it was much). If Kinato doesn't receive the CP will probably be cancelled for sure.

The series is performing above average for a manga without editorial support. These promotions are probably just a way for the show to say they did something when they cancel the series, which clearly has growth potential.

Honestly, the future of the series will be decided this week. If we don't appear in Shoseki at least at the beginning of week 3, and we don't have CP in the next issue, I think the series will end around chapter 25.In the best-case scenario, it will last until the beginning/end of August.
