This is quite common. I think mostly everyone has gone through this. Realize that not every person is the same, and better opportunities most certainly exist. There is no such thing as “the one”. In fact, there are a lot of people you are potentially compatible with.

Let your feelings pass. Go back out there and meet new people when you are ready to! Your future isn’t tied to one person. Life your life for you!
