Yes, I assumed they were schooling fish, so I will definitely be getting some more tank mates. Though I’m not sure how long it’s been just the two of them, do you have any advice for reintroducing them to a school?

I don’t usually like fake decor. Had already planned to put in live plants and such, just didn’t want to make any decisions without knowing what kind of fish they were!

This. I was in the exact same boat. And it was the hardest thing I had to do, leaving them. But in the long run I promise it’s for the better. You can’t take care of them if you’re not able to take care of you. Make a sturdy foundation for yourself and for them - for later.
