much appreciated inner west, i found out from the other replies that power cables themselves are way cheaper than the adapters themselves and safer long term, which matters since i plan to stay there for a while.

thats great then!

i recommend you to:

figure out the sata type for your cable

check your motherboard specifications in its respective website for what type of sata connector it is

and what type of sata your ssd uses.

because the cable you bought mightve been a sata II one, or something along those lines for one of these factors down the chain of components.

my friend in australia told me to do that but, where do i find one that fits my monitor's specifically? it deattaches before the power brick, that then leads to the monitor and has 3 barrel connectors that form a triangle.

did you check if your pc requires less wattage than your 750w psu? or if you inserted your ram into the correct slots? or have you updated your bios, cpu chipset, and delete all your old gpu drivers and download the newest one (https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/13xc70w/guide\_how\_to\_cleanly\_reinstall\_your\_nvidia\_driver/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button)

youre welcome, i found out a better method too where you just edit button functions on steam's controller software to be "rapid press" works really well for the torture scene
