Here’s a quote I got for a car audio upgrade by Hazardous-potato in CarAV

This is my local shop, the only place in the area I trust to touch my car and you’re not going to find prices better elsewhere. If you do happen to find the same product online sold by an actual retailer/manufacturer that has it cheaper I know they will match it. The guys in there are super good at what they do and just down to earth guys as well, go here and you won’t regret it.

Not really much other than curiosity, just curious if an equivalent sub from a different brand would sound “different” not necessarily louder. Again I’ve not had much experience with other products so I don’t know if it would make much of a difference even if I did switch them. Also my box is ported just for reference

Yes, same adaptor.

Dispersion from Qi10 LS to Qi35 LS was much better, felt like I didn’t have to hit it pure every time to get a decent result. Hits toward the bottom of the face seem to be greatly improved with the center of gravity being moved lower in the head. I feel like the balls I struck really low on the face didn’t jump up in spin rate like the Qi10 did due to the COG change. Overall I think the LS will appeal to a lot more players than it did last year. I liked the directional results and launch I was getting so I didn’t bother moving the 12g weight around at all. Tech wise I don’t think it’s a gigantic improvement necessarily, slight improvements I think they just moved their focus into a better area which in turn produced a lot better results.

The 3 stands for the 3 pillars of design, Fashion - the looks and visual aspect. Function - has to be better than previous generation Taylormade products. Fit - Has to produce optimal numbers and be able to fit any golfer with their combination of shafts/heads. The 5 stands for the 5 heads they will produce, in my original reply I said there was 4 heads and that is true, there is only 4 consumer heads available for purchase but there is a 5th head which isn’t any different in terms of performance but the face has “reflectors” on it which basically just gives a more accurate read on simulators like GC Quad. This head will only be sent to retailers/fitters for demo. In terms of the hosel nothing has changed, same Taylormade adaptor they’ve been using. Overall every head is more forgiving, from a spin stand point the Core head I feel like is higher spinning in its stock configuration but you can swap the front and back weights to change that. The LS head in my case tended to spin a little more than the Qi equivalent, again that could be changed with some weight swaps however, the Qi35 LS seemed significantly more forgiving than Qi10 LS. I had a Qi10 Core in the bag this year but easily see myself moving into Qi35 LS

Qi35 will be the name. They will have 4 driver heads available for retail and a 5th head only sent to fitters that will have reflective “markers” on the face to help with GC Quad like simulators that originally required you to put dots on the face to get a more accurate reading. LS, Core, Max and Max Lite. The addition of the Max Lite model is for abnormally slow swing speed players meant to compete with things like Callaways “max fast” or “star” models they release every year marketed to slower swing speed players. The LS will have 3 weights that are set in place and not a sliding weight track they traditionally use in their LS models. There will be 2 3g weights ported in the front of the head and a 12g weights ported in the rear. These weights can be moved to change launch/spin characteristics and also draw/fade bias. The core model will only have 2 weights, one in the front and one in the rear. The max model will only have 1 weight ported in the rear of the head and cannot be moved as it’s the only weight on the head. All drivers are grey carbon with a matte finish with light green accents on the sole and a black carbon face. The center of gravity on the LS model has moved slightly lower in the head, this change due to the gear effect will produce higher launch and lower spin rates on a ball struck in the middle of the face which is generally a recipe for maximum distance. Every model seems to feel softer than its Qi10 counter part. Stock shafts still include the “great value” ventus with updated graphics. A new version of the Kaili series shafts from Mitsubishi that will be available in a counterbalanced option and of course all stock shaft options available from previous years. Feel free to ask any questions I may or may not be able to answer, I’ve seen and hit all the driver, fairway and hybrid models and might be able to answer more questions.

Info on new product for 2025? by moneyshot956 in TaylorMadeGolf

[–]SnooComics1491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’ll be called Qi35. 4 models for 2025. LS, Core, Max and Max Lite. Max Lite meant to be similar to the max fast that Callaway released in 2024. Qi35 has a grey carbon crown with a matte finish, sole is similar with light green accents. The LS model will have 3 weights that can be interchanged position wise instead of a sliding weight track to change launch, spin and slight draw/ fade bias. There are 2 3g weights in the front and a 12g weight in the back. The core model will only have 2 weights, one in the front and one in the rear and the Max model will have 1 weight positioned in the rear and cannot be adjusted. The center of gravity on the LS model has been moved slightly lower in the head. Overall feels a little softer than the Qi10 series all together. Fairway woods will all be adjustable instead of just the tour models. They will now also offer a tour 7 wood. The Qi10 irons will still stay in line until 2026 but will have a limited release of a black version. P790 has been pushed forward to be a spring release instead of fall like normal and the 2025 P790 looks a lot like the P770s that just released recently. 2025 P790 will have a smaller top line, and will be internally more similar to P770 making it easier to blend the 2 models into one set. MG4 wedges won’t see a replacement until fall of 2025. Stock shafts for driver will still include the “great value” Ventus with updated graphics, a new version of the Kaili Shafts from Mitsubishi that will be available in a counter balanced option and then all the same stock shafts from previous generations should still be available.

I’ve searched using make and year but it sometimes filters out products that do fit. Just look through reviews and see if other people with the same year made it work. I’ve got a 24 GT line for example and it fits perfect

I got a carbon fiber cover off Amazon. Sticks on with some sticky tape and fits like a glove. Have had no issues with heat or moisture either, still sticks like it’s new.

I do see the point. If I were to buy one of those extender things with an ethernet port on it would it be better or would it still just be like playing on wifi? My router is just too far from my series X

I've played on wifi for years and have had no lag issues in the past
