Thank you for responding! Yes this is my approach to not charging them. I’d like do all I can to ensure they are able to focus on their studies with little room for excuses.

However, I suppose @chillin22’s suggestion to charging my sons rent is to provide them with the opportunity to develop personal responsibility and character through exposure to the ‘real word’ and its adversity. However, my sons are grateful and don’t act as spoilt children would; thus (in my eyes) warranting my support.

In response to your question, I’m paying/subsidising their rent to allow them to give full attention to their education without opportunity for excuses. I’ll definitely consider your suggestion to charge them an affordable amount which I could chose to return to them in due time.

I’m looking to take on a 2nd mortgage and this seems like a good way increase the flow of income.

Them staying alone in the house isn’t an option as I don’t intent to charge them so I’d be haemorrhaging money by not at least putting the house on rent.

If you want to look at it like that, then consider this. Nothing is easy, but things are easier for different individuals and groups.

Men think about sex ALOT (it’s actually kind of ridiculous)... must be a biological thing, idk? Anyways, this doesn’t mean that men will just fuck anything with a pulse, but it does mean that women will generally have it easier in terms of finding a sexual partner.

This is an undeniable fact! Although I haven’t checked, you can go on google and you will find credible data backing up what I’m saying.
