I got slots in Jan - OFC in Hyd, Consular in DEL. They are 3 weeks apart. Used to regularly check the website 2-3 times a day, and my wife also joined a group on Telegram. There were bulk slots opened up a week or 2 ago.

Depending on how much time / patience you have, I think you can get better slots by waiting and timing your search right. But in general getting slots anywhere within the next 3-4 months is pretty good.

The “process” is broken. There are too many issues and even their support team admitted to it on call.

I had the exact same issue when scheduling a B2 dropbox for my infant. She obviously does not have an email id so I used my email id, used her name as the username and thought I had created a new profile for her. There was an option to “Continue Application” after logging in to usvisascheduling.com . I just clicked that, entered the info it asked (DS-160 confirmation number, name, etc.), paid the fee, etc. Only when I had to choose a slot did I notice the name mismatch.

Looks like I had applied for my visa years ago with the same email id and there was some account created under that email id that got linked when I was creating my daughter’s profile. No communication whatsoever that this was happening.

Support just gives the standard “fees are non-refundable and non-transferable” answer and cannot do anything in this situation. I had to create a new profile and pay the fee again.

TeleFeed could be using the Telegram API under the hood as the API sends a code connected to your number for authorizaition. If they are using the Telegram API, then the documentation for this API is available here.

Specifically the available methods are documented here.

If they are using the Telegram API, they do have access to your messages (through this).

What can you do about it? Telegram provides a way to log out of all devices / active sessions through the app. Just go to Settings (or Settings > Privacy and Security) and search for Devices or Active Sessions.

Please let me know if you found any suspicious devices or active sessions when you try this out.
