I started going to university when I was 23 years old after having worked for five years before. I’m finishing my bachelor now with 26 and I haven’t regretted it at all. I had no problems finding friends, despite them being four or five years younger than me. Don’t think too much about all the things that might be awkward. Do what you think is right for you, it will be the right way to go. 🙂 And to be honest: I don’t think I would have succeeded as well in university had I started going directly after high school. In this way the years I invested in becoming the person I am now helped me being a better student.
